On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Mott The Hoople called 'Mott The Hoople' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pink 'i' Island label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS MOTT THE HOOPLES FIRST LP EVER - AND IS THEIR RAREST BY FAR (ESPECIALLY IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION)!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - WITH A DIFFERENT MATRIX!!!!  EVEN STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP ARE HARD TO FIND - BUT THIS ONE IS RARER STILL AS IT HAS A DIFFERENT MATRIX AND A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE TO ONE SIDE OF THE RECORD!!!!  MOST STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAVE A2/B2 MATRIXES AND 3 'BANDS' OR 'TRACK GAPS' ON SIDE 2.  HOWEVER THIS ONE HAS A2/B1 MATRIXES AND 4 'BANDS' OR 'TRACK GAPS' ON SIDE 2!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - BUT ALTHOUGH THIS LP PLAYS 'ROCK'N'ROLL QUEEN' AND 'BACKSLIDING FEARLESSLY' IN THE CORRECT ORDER - THE GROOVES ON SIDE 2 LOOK VERY DIFFERENT WHEN COMPARED TO A STANDARD 1ST PRESSING!!!!  SO SURELY THERE MUST BE MIX DIFFERENCE IN THEIR SOMEWHERE?  EITHER WAY THIS LP HAS TO BE EXTREMELY RARE INDEED WITH THESE 'DIFFERENT' MATRIXES, AND 'GAP' DIFFERENCES - AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION TOO!!!!  THE RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL AND IS IN AWESOME CONDITION - AND THE COVER IS SIMPLY SUPERB!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PINK 'i' ISLAND LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ILPS 9108 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Mott The Hoople at their best!!!! Any fan of Mott The Hoople, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 absolutely ULTRA light scuffline (only visible under EXTREME light!) and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO wear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover is must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
