Another Amazing Auction Courtesy of Celebrating 16 years of buying and selling cool items on eBay!!!
I have decided to sell off the majority of my classical record collection this summer - approximately 800+ good quality Decca (SXL & LXT), Columbia (SAX & 33CX), EMI (ASD & ALP), Deutsche Grammophon / DGG (Tulip & Digital), Philips (Hi fi stereo, Minigroove, Digital), RCA (Living Stereo, Soria), Mercury (Living Presence) and many more. Artists in this collection are Kubelik, Grumiaux, Telmanyi, Du Pre, Fournier, Knappertsbusch, Kleiber, Janigro, Karajan, Fiedler, Rostropovich, Szeryng, Paray, Oistrach and hundreds more. Many of these records are TAS listed - simply a great collection.
I will be listing everything at a starting price of $14.99 and would happily combine shipping - even over a 2 month span for people with good feedback ratings and ex customers. I am separating them based on label, so this week features items from the HMV / EMI catalogue (ASD, ALP etc)!
This Auction Features: MOZART Kubelik conducting the Jupiter & Haffner Symphonies with the VPO EMI/HMV ASD 617 UK LP - 1st pressing, 1965.
Condition: Record is a solid EX- condition. Sleeve condition is as described above and / or as seen in scan!
Here is a rough outline of my grades for records (I am quite strict on my grading, you can see by my feedback and comments...):
Mint: New or sealed (if not sealed then I opened it myself...)
NM: Played just a few times, like new.
Ex, Exc or Excellent: A record that has been played a handful of times and has been very well taken care of. No audible scratches to speak of, maybe a pop or two.
VG+ or VG++: A very decent used record, a few pops and/or some very light scratches but very acceptable.
VG: A record that has scratches, pops and is starting to show some serious wear.
Fair / Good: Many scratches, writing on cover, a useable but rough record.
Poor: unplayable or nearly so, filler copy - I would only sell a very rare record in this condition.
Please check my other auctions for more items - I ship Globally and am happy to combine items to save you $$$ on shipping costs whenever possible. I will be listing a LOT of lp's and 45's in the coming months and am happy to hold purchases and ship them out in bunches to save on Canadian Postal costs...
Shipping: To USA $10.00 air for 1 LP, ($15 for 2 LPs, $25 for 3-5 LPs), to Canada $15.00 for 1-5 LPs. (Europe / Asia etc $20.00 for 1 LP - please email me for specific shipping costs for larger lots to Europe, Asia, UK, Australia etc).
I will ship anywhere in the world. Shipping turnaround is usually about 4-5 days (I ship once or twice a week).
A note about my shipping times: First - this item is coming to you from Canada, 'nuff said. I ship items once or twice per week, and while many packages ship in a day or two, occasionally a package may take a few more days before it leaves my hands. You will always be thrilled with the condition and packaging, but if you are looking for this item to arrive YESTERDAY - I may not be your guy. That said I make all attempts to get your item out safely securely and promptly - I have been on eBay since it began and have 10's of thousands of happy trading partners!Any questions?
