Description

Here Erich Kleiber conducts Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, complete on four discs, with Lisa della Casa, Suzanne Danco, Hilde Gueden, Alfred Poell, Cesare Siepi and the Vienna Philharmonic.

This superb performance, Kleiber's only stereo recording, is on London Records, OSA 1402, four disc set. All four discs are in beautiful, glossy NM shape and are UK pressings with the wide band, grooved FFSS labels. 5E/4K, 4F/4F, 4F/2K, 3E/3F stampers.

The exact contemporary counterpart of SXL 2087-90. Libretto included. Rare issue even on London.

The records were carefully auditioned with a Goldring 1042 cartridge, Music Hall TT, Densen amplification and Epos speakers--NM.

The bright, crisp blueback box is in super, near-new shape, a VG+/NM-. The gold lettering on the box positively glows. Libretto, too.

You won't find a better copy of this wonderful set!
