U.S. BUYERS
PAYMENT - U.S. buyers to pay by PAYPAL, POSTAL MONEY ORDER, OR PERSONAL CHECK. Items paid for by paypal ship immediately.
SHIPPING & HANDLING – Shipping costs will need to be determined after the auction for multiple-lp sets, box sets or for multiple purchases. You will be able to choose between Priority Mail, Media Mail, and optional insurance. Insurance is recommended, as the seller is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. You can combine other LP orders to save on shipping so see my other LP auctions.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
International buyers are welcome and PAYMENTS are to be made by PAYPAL. Please note that as of May 2007 the USPS Postal Service has raised their shipping rates and has canceled all Economy / Surface shipping options. Because this box weighs over 4 pounds, international shipping will have to be by Priority Mail International (this is like the old Air Parcel Post – airmail shipment, some indemnity included, additional insurance available, tracking). Shipping costs will need to be determined after the auctions end for multiple-lp box sets or for multiple purchases. To give you an idea of the starting point, a SINGLE LP ships for $16 First Class International or $27 Priority Mail International (Canada $9/$19). This large set will cost SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than this. You can combine LP orders to save on shipping so see my other LP auctions. Remember, do not pay until you have received my invoice with correct shipping & handling costs.
BUYERS IN ITALY - Due to the large number of fraudulent bids and unpaid items from buyers in Italy, I will no longer sell to customers in Italy UNLESS they have a feedback of 25+ positives and have been registered for more than 6 months. Buyers in Italy must also pay for items by Paypal within 48 hours of auctions end. Please do not bid on my items unless you fit those parameters. If you know who the individuals/collectors/dealers/stores are who register on ebay for only 30 days and then cancel their membership before unpaid items or negative feedbacks can catch up with them, please encourage them to start using ebay more responsibly. Thank you.
GRADING
Lps are visually graded and then sound-tested in various spots. Any visible marks are checked to see if they make any noise, and significant scuffs or scratches are mentioned in the description. Lps have NOT been listened to in their entirety, so it is possible for there to be noise not mentioned in the description. I try to grade conservatively to please all buyers. I know there are different grading systems out there and keep in mind that many record dealers do visual grading only. So to clarify, when I say an lp is NM+ (near mint plus) it usually looks new and plays with no noise in the areas I sound tested. An lp graded NM- (near mint minus) might have some sleeve residue, minor surface wear or minor scuffs (usually but not always noted) or it may have some occasional or minor surface noise. In general I recommend cleaning all lps before playback, as they may not have been machine cleaned - if they were cleaned, they were cleaned back when I sound tested, cataloged, and prepared them for auction. Items are sold AS-IS. Returns/Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. NO RETURNS/REFUNDS on items shipped internationally and on clearance/budget items with starting prices at or below $3. Please keep this in mind when buying budget items, items described as cheap/as-is in their description, and items graded below E. Also keep in mind that I will answer negative feedback with negative feedback to those who do not adhere to the parameters above. Insurance is recommended, as the seller is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping, and negative feedback received from those who choose not to insure their package will be answered with negative feedback. I have established a reputation, especially in the quality-conscious classical record community, as a top seller with fair prices, excellent packaging, super-fast shipping, and often better-than-stated condition. Please view my thousands of feedbacks and feel confident that I am not trying to cheat anyone by using as-is policy. I discard just as many records as I sell because they do not meet my standards, and I usually only sell items E or below or describe items as cheap/as-is in their description when they are rare or valuable items that collectors might want despite their lesser condition.
AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS:
If you are the winner of a MULTIPLE LP SET or MULTIPLE ITEMS, please wait for my invoice - I will package the items, calculate shipping, and invoice you as quickly as I can. If you have an ADDRESS CHANGE, ZIPCODE CHANGE, or if you have specific special packing requests beyond a cardboard lp mailer box with insert, then please email when the auction ends so I can send you a correct invoice. Do not include special packaging requests with payment, because the added weight and materials will add cost to the shipping – I must receive special packaging requests BEFORE you make payment.
