Description
Here we have an original Transatlantic pressing of The Gypsy by Mr. Fox, featuring Bob and Carol Pegg. The dead wax matrices end with A-2U and B-2U which suggests a very early pressing. You'll see in the picture that the clear plastic sleeve that holds the record has worked loose from the inside of the cover, the glue has simply given up the ghost. I would class the record as near mint were it not for the fact that there is a pressing fault on side one which makes a hiss for half of the first track, Mendle. It's annoying that it's there but there's knack all I can do to improve it. There are no marks around the centre holes so it looks as though it was never played by the previous owner, whom I know to have been very careful with his vinyl. He may have even missed this one out altogether. There's a lot more where this came from so watch out for your Uncle Noddy, he may have something you'd like to own. Deedle eedle ee.
