MTUME UMOJA ENSEMBLE "ALKEBU-LAN - LAND OF THE BLACKS" 2-LP - On Strata East Records, #SES-1972-4 (stereo).  This is the original U.S. double LP pressing - NOT A MODERN REISSUE.  Monster spiritual jazz masterpiece recorded August 29, 1971 in Brooklyn N.Y. and featuring Mtume, Carlos Garnett, Leroy Jenkins, Ndugu, Gary Bartz, Stanley Cowell, Andy Bey, Joe Lee Wilson and Buster Williams.  The vinyl is in close to NM condition (beautiful gloss)!!  Small name ink stamped faintly at top of Side A & C labels.  The gatefold cardboard cover is in superb shape:  bright & clean, displays wonderfully with only a slight hint of wear.  The gatefold still creaks when opened!  NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  This is easily the finest example of this rare piece I've ever offered.
