Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

SUPERB PLAY COPY, ONE OF MANY GLAM RECORDS NOTORIOUS FO BEING TRAHSED BACK IN THE 70s, FINDING THESE LPs IN ANY CONDITION IS BECOMING IMPOSIBLE

THE VINYL   EX SUPERB PLAY CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the ORIGINAL FIRST pressing  - Stored from new this LP has seen BELOW AVERAGE CAREFUL plays only, and remains in SUPER condition everywhere.

This  pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all like this.

We can see some tiny spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole

There are some very light whisp lines,a couple of tiny hairlines on both sides and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, and therefore there are a few little dust specs on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION CONSIDERING MOST COPIES WERE TRASHED AND DAMAGED BACK IN THE DAY!.

On playing through we heard only some light lead in static in the opening dead grooves ...possibly the odd dust pop which will not sound next time through we doubt.

Yes...the whole record plays quite superb.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct LAMINATED first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with square spine.

 This is in SUPERB condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean. The lamination pulling so tight it creates the 'bowed' effect on the top seam..stunning!

The edges are all super clean with no real traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

TITLES ON TOP EDGE AND SPINE

No  ringwear - Some very light ring press only.

ONE SMALL 'HOLE PUNCH' THROUGH THE SLEEVE-This may have ben done for exporting out the UK..?

THE SPINE IS SUPER SHARP AND UNSQUASHED

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

a couple of tiny lamination spider lines on the edges of each side.

The lamination goes right to the edge and is quite simply still shining like a mirror!
