Description

An original copy of the controversial 1968 Muddy Waters LP Electric Mud (Cadet Concept LPS-314).  Loathed by Blues purists, loved by the Psych/Funk/Hip-Hop crowd, this album finds Muddy getting his sound updated by Phil Chess’ son Leonard for the Love Crowd.  Includes rare 8-page booklet of Muddy getting his process together.

 

The black gatefold sleeve (the inside of which shows off Muddy’s new head to glorious results) is in excellent condition with a minimum of wear and scuffing.  The booklet is near mint.  The LP, which is housed in its original stock Cadet company innersleeve, is excellent as well.
