You are bidding on a rare "Muddy Waters - The Chess Box" set of 6 lp albums, plus the original 32 page booklet. The collection contains 72 songs, and I'm sure you can find the complete discography for this set somewhere else on the internet. This set is in outstanding condition. The exterior of the actual box does have some areas of "wear", but not as much wear, but more like a few "dingy" areas. I'll try to describe it as best as I can, as the photos do not tell the whole story. I have had this set in my possession for aprox. 17 years, pretty much just tucked away. The discs have never been on a turn table to the best of my knowledge. They look almost pristine, with the possibly exception of a slight finger smudge on the inside vinyl (not on grooves), of only one side of one album. These are really minty discs! All in original sleeves. The Booklet is also mint, with absolutely no signs of wear or marks, and it has not even been thumbed through, you can tell by how flat it lays. I opened it to take a few pictures for this auction, but that is likely the most daylight it has ever seen. The exterior of the box has a yellow dingy mark with a slight crease where someone prior to me must have had a label on it. I tried to get a close up photo of that. There are also some slight wear and dirt marks around the outer edges of the box. The back of the box is fine. I am not a collector, and I know collectors have their own grading system, so I would not venture to grade it. But super clean discs and booklet, outside box has some wear. This set sold "as is". I think this set is going to make someone somewhere very happy! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
