Description

This is ORIGINAL RARE 1956 BLACK AND SILVER KING RECORDS LABEL, featuring classic R & B sides spanning 1949-1956. This a TRUE TIME PIECE LP issued on the ever-collectible KING label.

The cover is E. This piece in 99% ringwear-free. The front and back slics look incredible. All colors are vibrant – NO FOXING ON THE WHITES. All edges and corners are straight and firm; NO CREASES OR SEAM SPLITS. This set includes the collectible original onion paper lined inner sleeve.

The disc is VG-. The surface still boasts very good shine, although it does have a consistent presence of light storage marks. The labels are completely intact although there’s a consistent  amount of spindle marks; NO WRITING OR STICKERS.

Sonically the disc is VG+. Although the disc has the aforementioned flaws, there are NO LOUD POPS OR SKIPS. For a compilation album spanning approximately 7 years of recordings from several studios, the discs’ sound is VERY CONSISTENT. There is great bottom to all the tracks and the highs are still blazing! Recommended vinyl listening.
