Winter 2009-2010, Meyhnach decides to re-record some Mutiilation's classics during one of his lonely rehearshals. Those 6 pieces were not supposed to be released and must be considered more like working tapes. Though this material is interesting as those versions propose some old songs with a different raw sound and maybe better recording skills. Those tapes were lost for years in Meyhnach's archives and are now available exactly as they sounded. A testimony of Mutiilation's grim past...

Collection of Mütiilation re-recordings by Meyhna'ch on all instruments and vocals.
Founder Meyhna'ch decided to split-up the band on December 8, 2009. Five or six years later Mütiilation returned, but dissolved once again in 2017. Most Mütiilation albums were performed as one-man project, although the early demos and debut album feature additional band members. Session drummers were also included on a few releases.
Mütiilation has rarely performed live. The band's first show took place on June 23, 2001 at the Drakkar Hellfest in Marseille, France; the second on July 7th of the same year at the Under the Black Sun Festival (Germendorf, Germany). Both of these 2001 shows were bootlegged by Wargeist Productions under the title Desecrate Jesus' Name (CD + DVD, in DVD case), limited to 100 hand-numbered copies. Mütiilation once had a European tour booked, but was canceled. A second Mütiilation tour was booked for 2015, but this one too was cancelled. Only a single date was played on June 20th at Hellfest in Clisson, France. Despite this, 2015 saw Mütiilation rise again but Meyhna'ch declared in the fall of 2017 this project to be "definitely dead".
Mütiilation was part of The Black Legions (Les Légions Noires), along with Aäkon Këëtrëh, Amaka Hahina, Belathauzer, Belkètre, Black Murder, Brenoritvrezorkre, Chapel of Ghouls, Dvnaèbkre, Dzlvarv, Moëvöt, Satanicum Tenebrae, Seviss, Susvourtre, Torgeist, Torture, Vagézaryavtre, Vèrmyapre Kommando, Vlad Tepes, Vor.ulkr, Vzaéurvbtre, and Zelda until 1996.
