Still SEALED in the original Shrink Wrap. Never Opened, Never Played.

COVER is NM
Completely SEALED with no breaks or tears to shrink (one small breathing hole). Spanking clean, snapping bright all around. No grime, discoloration, creases or dings. ...a few tiny specks. No other marks. Straight, edged and sharp cornered all around - VERY flat. Private press cover has a few small air bubbles between the outer slick and the backing stock, very minor. A real beauty all around.

NOTE
Cover PHOTO, like many of my other photos, is showing SHADOW (darker area) on part of the cover.
This is from my lighting only. NOT any aging or toning on the cover itself.
This is a perfectly even, bright white cover, edge to edge, front and back.
I am having this problem with most of my other shots ...but with such a stark
WHITE cover, I want to be sure you are aware that this is only lighting effect.

VERY Rare Private Funk/Psych from amazing, totally obscure, San Francisco bay area group.?

Original 1975 pressing, factory sealed. Not a Reissue.

Enigmatic SF Bay Area Funk/Psych group "Mysterious Minds" were a multiracial group of Viet Nam and Korean war vets with a whole bagful of wild groove who played, among other more traditional instruments, the self-made contraption they called the Brass Orchestra Cabinet (invented by the keyboardist Tim Jones - see it in photo #2) a DIY bastard homemade "pipe organ" instrument made of trumpets and other horns, sounding like nothing else you ever heard before - with great effect.

Superb 60's/70's SF Bay area Funk, with way out psychedelic lyrics and long instrumental passages. Really solid drums, some wild guitar and great, soulful male & female vocals and a really odd worldview. It says both "Mysterious Minds" and "Mystic Minds" on the label, but they were primarily known as The Mysterious Minds.

I can’t think of too many other private Psychedelic Funk LPs that are this good and this “out there”.
A unique and too-little-known masterpiece highly appreciated by rare funk groove diggers, DJ's, psych-heads, incredible strange music fans...
