TRAIL OFF NUMBERS 45-U-156x 20 and 45-U-157 x 20.
I am a private record collector, and am having a clear out of some of my rare records, so please check out my other auctions.
I bought this MEGA RARE Elvis SUN 223 from the USA about 15 years ago. At one stage, I owned all 5 of the Elvis Sun 7' singles, but I now just have this one and 'That's All Right', which I am holding onto for now.
This single is 100% genuine, and VERY RARE, especially in the UK. The Sun records were only released in the USA.
The Elvis Sun singles were numbered 209, 210, 215, 217 and 223. Mystery Train was Elvis's last recording for Sun.
You will see from the photos, that there has at some time been stickers on the labels, and although they have been removed, there is still residue, which could probably be removed, but I didn't want to try. There is a small piece of the letter 'N' missing on the 'A' side.
The record has surface marks, and has been well played, but you are buying this record for the prestige of owning one of the rare 5 Elvis Sun's, NOT for it's sound quality!
I start all my auctions at 99p, so although I value this record in excess of £350, you may grab a bargain, as there is NO RESERVE.
