Original UK One Sided White Label Test Pressing LP released on Probe / EMI Records in 1969. Cover laminated on front with flipbacks on rear.

PLEASE NOTE - one side of this Test Pressing LP is BLANK.

Label on play-side stamped STEREO.

The late 60s was filled with ludicrously named bands.
The Mystic Number National Bank is one of those bands.
They appear to have hailed from Kansas City. They were a whiteboy, soulful, psychedelic overdriven electric blues machine, of which there were several in the Woodstock era.

Similar to Vanilla Fudge’s visions of excess on the soulful side of things, in which the Wilson Pickett is crossed with a healthy dose of hallucinogenics, then refried, amplified and shot out of a rocket, The Mystic Number National Bank came up with a mélange of Electric Blues wrapped in an impossibly large heap of long greasy hair and leather lunged wailing. There’s a 1969 festival mud vibe running through the record that’ll take you away if you let it.

We offer combined shipping on all LPs / 12" Vinyls: our shipping rates are listed above. HOWEVER shipping packages that weigh more than 2kg is VERY expensive. Therefore we can only offer combined shipping up to a maximum of SEVEN (7) LPs / 12" vinyls. Any extra purchases will be invoiced, packaged and shipped separately.

PAYMENT

I would appreciate payment within seven days of the auction’s end. If you want to bid on more of my auctions ending a week later please inform me. I will wait and issue a combined invoice at the close of the second week’s auctions.

However, I am no longer willing to carry combined transactions beyond two weeks and in these cases would appreciate payment promptly after the close of the second week’s auctions.

I am sorry to have to introduce these measures – I always try to be patient and allow buyers to bid on extra auctions and / or delay payment. Unfortunately some buyers have been stretching out transactions to unacceptable lengths so I feel I have no option but to limit ‘carried over’ transactions to two weeks.
