Machine Head The Blackening on 180 gram Double Vinyl LP signed by
Robb Flynn and Dave McClain during there tour with DethKlok a few years ago.
A friend of mine is good friends with them as his band has toured with Machine Head in the past.
I’ve had the chance to hang with the guys on the tour bus a few times, and the last time I spent time with the band I had brought a couple records to get signed as this is one of them.
The record is new! Only opened to have a couple guys that were around at the time sign them. That being Robb and Dave.
Robb actually signed it twice because he felt the first time his marker didn’t come out that well on the cover, so he grabbed a silver sharpie and signed it again below his name.
Dave signed it below.
Not only this record is super hard to find especially in this condition! But you will never see Robb Flynn’s signature next to Dave McClain’s signature again since they no longer play together.
the record has been stored in a hard case LP case in a smoke free home! Properly stored in room temp with low humidity in my house! Not the attic or basement of course!
I figured $99 was a good start because the record itself goes for that on average not signed! Not to mention this is their only album to be nominated for a Grammy Award! You don’t see May records signed by the guys.
I have to say that Robb is very kind! While on the bus there were fans waiting outside the bus and he was right away to notice and did not make them wait to go out and meet them!
this was signed in Philadelphia at the Electric Factory while the tour consisted of DethKlok, the original line up of As I Lay Dying.
This record will be well insured for shipping! And I only use the best record mailers in the biz! They don’t come cheap but are much worth the piece of mind when shipping!
