Description
This is the second LP release by Mad River, on Capitol ST-185. This is somewhat lighter sounding than their first LP, and contains a broader range of styles - there is a strong country presence on this LP compared with the first. In general it is more highly regarded than the first LP but they're both really great. Mad River had a unique style, characterized by Laurence Hammond's quavery but expressive vocals and dashes of acid-rock guitar that have something of a slightly discordant quality. Not for everyone, but their music seems to be more appreciated now than it was at the time.
Although not a first pressing, this is probably a second pressing as the sound is excellent and clear. Matrix numbers are: STI-185-B2#2 and ST2-185-A1. This is not one of the later re-releases that sounded so poor because they were mastered from a vinyl copy.

Sleeve is VG+. Just the slightest ring wear, but there is a small hole punched into the bottom left corner. No tears or sticker marks.
