Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a 3 MIL poly inner sleeve.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

  • Madonna's eponymous debut album includes the original classic club tracks that ignited her career.
  • This First Pressing is a Promo that has never been played.
  • The matrix runouts are RE-1 & RE-2.
  • The single piece board cover has tight seams and shows no wear. The gold foil embossed Promo stamp is top front cover. There is also a "Madonna" sticker affixed top front. Note that this sticker is not on other listings because it was applied to the cover on Promos and applied on the shrink wrap on commercial copies. In fact, it was only applied to a limited initial run.
  • The inner sleeve has lyrics & credits on one side and a Madonna photo on the other. I have included a soft poly inner sleeve.
  • Seller got this Promo right out of the box at WB. This copy has been in storage for 33 years.
