Description

Magic Sam. (1937-1969). Blue Horizon 7-63223 (UK). Compilation of sides released as 78s in the late 1950s on the Cobra and Artistic labels. This album was released in 1969 following Sam's untimely death. Liner notes by Blues Unlimited (UK) editor Mike Leadbitter.
Musicians include Little Brother, Harold Burrage (pno); Mack Thompson, Willie Dixon, Syl Johnson (bs); Bill Stepney, Odie Payne (dm); and Shakey Jake vocal on two tracks. 
I acquired this album when it was first released. Both disc and cover are in M- condition. And no, my name is not written on either label or disc.
