Description

This is one of those late 60’s psych rock albums that was created in the studio and given the name of a band that never existed.  The highlight of the album is the first track on side two, ‘Get Ready To Fly’.  That track was previously released as a single only by the group The Hooterville Trolley, who had titled the song ‘No Silver Bird’.  That single is now regarded as one of the great psych rock songs of the psychedelic era.  Apparently it ended up on this album without the permission of the band.  It definitely makes this very fine pscyh and blues rock collection a must have.  Finding that Hooterville Trolley single is next to impossible.  The rest of the album consists of one track by a group called ‘Mudd’ (‘Listen To What’s Being Said’) and eight other tracks by very good but unknown artists.  The unusual album was released on Uni in 1970, number 73094.  This is the original release of the album.    The vinyl grades VG.  The album cover shows light ring wear and corner and edge wear.  The bottom seam has a little damage There is single hole at the bottom right corner.
