Description
An excellent set of 2 stereo LPs from HMV Records. SAX 5281/5282 This is the original 2 single lp release, before it became a later boxed set. Rare today.
A very odd feature of this set, making it somewhat unusual and even more collectible than is normal, is that Columbia put the labels for sides 1 and 2 on the wrong sides!! The first movement is therefore side 2 of record 1. The second movement is therefore on side 1 of record 1. Record 2 is correct.
This is a most celebrated recording of this work. Klemperer presides over a deeply moving and musical performance.
The recorded sound is full, clear and well balanced, as always from this company.
This is a stereo LP release in very good condition. The LPs is pressed in Britain on good old thick vinyl. The surfaces are very clean, having been part of a specialist collection.
Good postal discounts for multiple purchases. UK buyers pay no more for up to 5 lps than for a single lp. (£3.25 Second Class)
I will ship worldwide, but international postage is only offered with tracked delivery and loss compensation. The amount charged reflects these facts.
