Description
This is an original copy of the legendary Majic Ship released on the NYC Bel-Ami (BA-711) label in 1970. The cover is M- overall but the right side of the front cover turned slightly darker with age (see scan). The labels are nearly perfect. The vinyl is VG++ visually (I don't use the EX grade). There are a few light sleeve scuffs. These do not affect play. There is however, a small light scratch on the beginning of side one which gives about five or six light ticks. These are very hard to hear as they are way below the level of the music. There is some distortion at the beginning of "Wednesday Morning Dew" that lasts for about ten to fifteen seconds or so. There is surface crackle on "We Gotta Live On" and on some parts of "Down by the River". These problems are in the pressing as there is no wear on the record that accounts for them. Most of the songs on this copy play very well. Mint copies of this fetch over $1,000.00. So, the reserve I have on this should be reasonable enough. Thanks for looking.
