Description

This is the original deep- groove RVG-etched pressing of Mal Waldron “Mal – 1” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7090.  The playing surface is in excellent condition with just a ¼” mark near the beginning of the second track on Side A that produces seven sporadic tics; perhaps played once.  The laminated West 50th St. cover is in near-new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; store sticker at the upper right corner of the back slick; 1/8” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Original glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Gigi Gryce, Idrees Sulieman, Julian Euell, and Arthur Edgehill.  $400.00.
