Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Mal Waldron “Mal/2” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige 7111.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, except for a needle drop on the first track of Side B that is audible off and on for approximately one minute and forty seconds.  The laminated West 50th St. cover has a neat 3’ repair at the center of the top seam and 1 ½” superficial wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; four sharp corners.  Glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include John Coltrane, Jackie McLean, Bill Hardman, Sahib Shihab, Idrees Sulieman, and Art Taylor.  $200.00.
