Manfred Mann Chapter Three on the Vertigo Swirl Label
Matrix numbers: 847902 1Y//3 ? 420 1 4 5 / 847902 2Y//3 ? 420 11 15
The vinyl is in really lovely condition. Glossy black and not a mark visible even in daylight. The labels are clean and bright and free from spindle marks. Grading by the Record Collectors grading system this is Excellent+. I have played it though once and it plays beautifully, very quiet between tracks.
The gatefold sleeve is generally nice and crisp but there is some sticker removal on the top right front, some corner wear and a 4 inch split along the bottom edge. Grades as Good /Very Good.
The spiral inner sleeve is crisp and not torn with some age browning.
I am starting this rare item low and there is no reserve.
Items will be packaged in purpose made cardboard mailers with stiffener. I will remove the disc from its sleeves to ensure that damage does not occur in transit. Auction finishes Sunday. If payment is received in time I will post on Tuesday. Items that go for more money I send at improved services to make sure that the Post Office will insure their value. I will not pass on the greater cost to the winning bidder.
