Description
Manfred Mann Chapter Three (Vertigo swirl). Matrix Numbers 847902 1Y//3 and 2Y//3. Comes with the original Vertigo Swirl inner. Cover condition, as you can see, would be VG+. There’s a few storage marks, and although the corners are a bit scuffed, as pictured, the spine labelling is clearly visible. The disc is bright and shiny, having been cleaned with my Okki Nokki cleaning machine. Side A (swirl) is unmarked and plays perfectly, with no clicks at all, and only the very faint background crackle commensurate with a very old record. Side B has two distinct marks. One does not affect playback, being purely cosmetic. The mark on track three causes very light clicking for a few seconds only, when played on my Rega Planar 3/Elys 2 deck, but does NOT skip/jump at all. The final track does have some low audible crackle on the last 30 seconds or so. All in all some 95% of this record plays brilliantly, and the enjoyment isn’t spoilt by the above. Please remember that you’re bidding on a 50 (!) year old record, here. I’d keep it myself, but I already have a copy, this coming in a job lot I bought which the owner refused to split.
