Description
A 1st pressing of CHAPTER THREE on the UK Vertigo label from 1969. Matrix 3/3. Large Vertigo Swirl and the label mentions 'Philips Product' - this is a straightforward indicator of 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold sleeve which mentions 'Philips Product' on the rear. There is also the original Vertigo swirl inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete..... And a beauty to boot!
Vinyl (Ex+) A truly amazing slab of vinyl and all you can do is stand back and marvel at it! Shiny like new and has clearly seen only the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference? Nope - nothing - zip...This is one of the best preserved records I've ever got my hands on. There is a small mark in track 1 on side 2 - this causes a couple of light crackles. And that is all that's vaguely worth mentioning the whole way through. This is a stunning pressing...
Cover (Ex+) Again, this record had one incredibly fastidious owner. It's looking in particularly fine condition considering it was printed in 1969. There's very little handling wear just the faintest touch in places. Please note the owner has signed the cover on the rear in the top-right. Other than that it really is in superb condition. It retains perfect rigidity and the openings are still sharp.
Inner (Ex) Only lightest of ageing and no splits or markings.
