Excellent copy of the very hard to find 1966 Marauders garage band 45 RPM with the even harder to find original picture sleeve “Since I Met You” b/w “I Don’t Know How” (Skyview 001/002).
The Marauders were from Sacramento California and existed between 1964 and 1966. The group included Jack Giere, keyboards and vocals; Glenn Strawn, guitar; Mike Lillman, guitar; Brian Barmby, bass and Rick Jagla, drums. Guitarist Ed Scheid replaced Lillman in 1965.
As far as I can determine this was their only released recording although previously unreleased material has subsequently been found on compilations.
The record retains most of the original gloss and plays great. There are a couple of visually dull spots on the record that play through with little notice. The labels are near mint. The picture sleeve is in beautiful condition with no splits, writing, stickers or stains. There is a small tear at the top that keeps it from a near mint rating.
