Description
This is very special! A numbered, limited edition triple gatefold version of Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow.
It was won by a 15 year old girl (my sister) as a prize in a competition in Mirabelle magazine. It still contains the letter from Mirabelle. When she left home a few years later she left her record collection to me. I stored them safely and forgot they were there until I cleared out my late mother's house.
The bad bits. The sleeve isn't unmarked, and the inner sleeve is slightly split at the bottom (see pictures). But for an over 40 year old record it's not bad at all!
The good bits. As far as I recall, it was seldom, if ever played. I know she used to take it out and look at it, but treasure it and not use it. She also had the standard album which is what she played more (also for sale separately - see pictures and my other items).
Anyone who is into vinyl records, particularly Bolan fans, will know these are rare. And in this condition and with this history it is a real collector's piece. I will not be taking any offers, ending the auction early, or selling this album if it does not reach its reserve.
