Description

You are looking at a DEMO of Marc Bolan's second ever single, 'The Third Degree', which is backed by 'San Francisco Poet'. The last time one of these came up for sale on ebay it sold for £773, but I start all my auctions at just 99p and set no reserve, so YOU will determine what it is worth. Released on the DECCA record label, the words 'DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE' are typed on the label, along with a large 'A' and 'RELEASE DATE: 3-6-66'. The catalogue number is F.12413 and etched into the run out groove is XDRF-38233-T1-1C. 
The labels have NO WRITING, NO STICKERS OR RESIDUE AND NO TEARS. I have never played the record, so I can't describe the quality, but there are no visible scratches, although there are paper scuffs. I have made no attempt to clean the record, but it isn't dirty or dusty, and is in superb condition for a 47 year old record.
A MUST FOR ANY BOLAN FAN OR RARE RECORD COLLECTOR. WILL LOOK EXCELLENT FRAMED.
