Marcel Dupre Organ Recital TEST PRESSING Vinyl LP Mercury SR-90169 Speakers Corner NM

Description:

Up for auction is a highly scarce, audiophile-grade Test Pressing / White Label Promotional copy of the legendary "Marcel Dupré Organ Recital." This historic album features the master organist performing monumental works by Charles-Marie Widor alongside his own compositions on the magnificent organ of St. Thomas Church, New York City.

Originally recorded in 1957 for the renowned Mercury Living Presence series, this pristine reissue was pressed by the esteemed Speakers Corner Records in February 2005 using their famous 100% pure analogue mastering chain. Vinyl production was handled by the Pallas factory in Germany on heavy 180-gram vinyl.

This rare collector's copy features the clean "Only for Promotion" white label on the vinyl and includes the official Speakers Corner technical/liner notes insert detailing the release.
