Description
Title: Margaret Johnson - Death House Blues B/W Nobody's Blues But Mine Catalog Info: Okeh-8220 Released: 1923 Format: 78RPM, Shellac 10" Country: U.S. Condition: VG to VG- a disc with scratches and wear, maintains good sheen, no cracks or chips. Side 1 plays loudly, with no disturbing noise, hisses, tick or stops. Side 2, plays the same but needed assistance in the intro. A good cleaning would probably improve both sides tremendously. If you want to hear it before making an offer, let me know. I will try to post a Youtube video, as my PC is not currently equipped to produce sound clips. Or, try calling me at a convenient time. I will set it up. However, I'd rather not handle it anymore after this listing. Thank you.

Thoughts From Seller: Blues Music Tidbits: Long live the Blues! Blues music is one of the most effective means of communication of all times. No matter how modernized the world becomes, there will always be an appreciation for the blues.....now a precious antique in the world of changing music fans. Blues music communicates and projects emotions of sadness, bitterness, discontentment, etc., and to the surprise of many, overwhelming joy. Blues offers a freedom of expression, that knows no boundaries. Many thanks to the blues pioneers, that taught us freedom of expression.
