Live at The Royal Albert Hall 2018
This was bought after the concert, in 2018, and is heavy weight LP set, with each disc being 180gms, black vinyl. Not a silly coloured, 2020's repress and re-mix! Nice pressing.
On October 13, 2017, Marillion played at the Royal Albert Hall for the very first time. The concert was sold out within moments of tickets being on sale and the audience, travelling from all over the world, was rewarded with an incredible Marillion show.
In two parts, All One Tonight firstly showcases the band's acclaimed 2016 studio album 'F E A R' in full. The second half introduces In Praise Of Folly, their guests, a string quartet with flute and French horn, whom, throughout the rest of the show, inject an extra depth and emotion to some of Marillion's best-loved live material.
I have only listened to some of the records, and just a couple of times, with some sides not listened to. The vinyl is EX (Excellent) and the sleeves (inner and outer) are crisp, and pretty much untouched. There is a slight corner crease, but that is minor, with all else immaculate.
This has won many reviewers hearts, and one praised them as, ''The old rockers, with plenty of steam left in them, and probably one of their best albums to date!'' The entire concert is available on TV demand and has, recently, been repeated on television, and this is a full copy of the concert.
