Description
Marillion Live FRC 23 recorded at Wolverhampton Civic, England on 4th November 1998 featuring the first live performance of many of the tracks featured on the superb Marbles album as well as rarely performed tracks like Cannibal Surf Babe and Beyond You and Marillion classics such as Quartz, The Party and Estonia.
As part of the FRC Day Out, we decided to record the warm-up show from the Marbles world tour and release it as the first live recording (and first public performance) of brand new material from Marbles (well, apart from a few tracks from the "Don't Hurt Yourself" single...). Because it was a warm-up, the band tried to rehearse as many set list contenders for the tour as possible, resulting in a VERY long set - just under 3 hours! Many of these tracks were later dropped from the set list altogether. This is a complete show, and most speaking between songs is included (due to time limitations of CDs, a few bits of chat have been removed). ALERT: I've put the wrong picture at the top of this listing! The green hued one is the correct image and please ignore the first paragraph of print. This is not the concert at Wolves but is, in fact, the concert performed as the FRC Day Out on 30 April 2004 at the Civic Centre in England.
All other info, including the track listing is correct.
