Marilyn Monroe / Rare Recordings 1948 - 1962 (Sandy Hook #2013 ) Japan Limited Pressed Rare Picture-LP BOX-SET!! It comes with "Box-Cover", "Square Clear Plastic-Cover", "Insert", "Postcard", "11 Page Booklet", "Metal Fittings (in a small vinyl-bag)" & "Picture-Disc"!! According to AD of sticker on clear vinyl-bag, this picture-LP was issued in limited supply for "display" in your room, and also enjoy listening to her early recordings from 1948 to 1962. As you can see, the disc shows her famous two kinds of photos. This box-set includes "square clear cover" to hold the picture-disc, and "metal fittings" in a small vinyl-bag to fix the disc & clear cover for display. Have you ever seen such an unique, interesting item for Monroe? In additon, 11 page fat booklet is attached to show "Japanese description" and "English & Japanese lyrics".

BOX-COVER: Bag is good in condition. It's aging on its surface with some creases, tape-stains (not tape itself and not sticky) & a partial strip at opening edges (See photo). It's a little sticking upward in the center (not seriouslly), while being clean inside box. Otherwise no tear, ring-crease, dent and writing...OK.
DISC: Disc looks excellent in condition. It has a few slight scuff on the outer-groove of SideA and some on each "inner-groove", which seem to have been made originally when it was pressed in factory. Otherwise none of any scratch & hairline, which should be rated as "EX". Though it looks beautiful in shape, it's lightly warped (not badly). Of course it plays without problem, and has no releation with "display" if you put it on the wall in your room. Anyway I totally rate it as "VG+", but it's clean disc, I guarantee you.
BOOKLET: EX, which has several light scrapes on front's surface. It's clean on the back & inside pages.
INSERT: G+, which wrinkles in the middle.
POSTCARD: VG+, being partly creased in rims.
CLEAR PLASTIC COVER: VG, being scraped on the surface. Otherwise no crack or any serious damage.
METAL FITTINGS: NM, being still housed in vinyl-bag.
