NOTES: Includes lyric insert, alsom near mint! Excellent, guaranteed original, 1982 Colorado Private-Pressing Loner Psych LP by MARK THOMPSON entitled "Open Windows Empty Rooms" on Never Summer Productions Records (#82002, Stereo). Very rare & unknown private LP here (actually the only one I’ve ever seen/heard of) w/some of the best moody loner folk psych tracks I’ve heard in a long while…titletrack, esp 2nd version, "Landslide," and "Climber" are all stellar. Probably a one-man-band, much of this has a sparse sound w/ his strong vocals and acoustic guitar upfront, but three tracks rock a bit more w/ fuzzy guitar and drums, somewhat in the guitar psych-y rock/neo-psych bag of the time. Much of this reminds me of same era LPs by Chris Yates and Bobb Trimble. Cool back cover shot of a bunch of ducks adds to the offbeat atmosphere.
