Description
Welcome to Across the Tracks Record Store
This auction listing is for a 7 inch vinyl single from Martha and the Vandellas
Title: Quicksand
B Side: Darling I Hum Our Song
The Catalogue number is SS 250
The label is Stateside.
Year 1963
This record plays extremely well. There are some visible hairlines and a few light surface marks but the overall music is fine and there is no detriment to sound quality.
Both sides were fine. On the B side, you do get some early crackles on the run on grooves, which do not last long which is acceptable.
This is at least a VG+ Single.
The single has a push in centre piece, so it won't be the original.
The sleeve is creased but it is not torn or ripped apart from a tiny bit around the label hole.
There's no writing on it or marks other than those that come with age.
Grading:
I use the Rare Record Guide matrix as a guideline but also prefer to listen to the vinyl where possible and visually grade the condition.
