Exceptionally rare and sought after classic blues album featuring some of the finest musicians of the 60s/70s. Artists playing on the album include Paul Kossoff (Free), Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce (Cream),Stan Webb (Chicken Shack), Christine McVie (Chicken Shack/Fleetwood Mac), Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience) and Jim Capaldi (Traffic) although they weren’t credited until a later re-release of the album on Blue Horizon. Needless to say the guitar work is superb and Velez herself is an excellent singer in the Janis Joplin vein. All in all the album is a bit of a lost treasure of the 60s. There are hardly any surface marks on the record. There are the occasional crackles in places so I have cautiously graded as VG + although the sound generally great. The sleeve is also in very good + condition taking account of it's age with just some very sligh discolouration around the edges and a couple of blue ink lines on the back to denote it is in stereo.
