Description
Here for auction is my super-rare copy of Martha and the Vandellas "Come and Get These Memories". Original pressing, Oriole PS40052, mono.
You can judge for yourself the condition of the sleeve from the photos. There are marks on the front which appear to be residue from sticky tape. There is some wear at the corners. There is a (coffee?) stain on the back of the sleeve and minor damage to the surface in the top left corner where someone has apparently removed sticky tape. Otherwise, the sleeve is quite sturdy comprising heavy card with a glossy laminated front.
The vinyl itself has a few light scratches to both sides. It cannot be described as mint but in my opinion it is "good". I have not played the record and have no intention of doing so.
I have been as honest as I can with my description, but I am not a dealer and have never sold a vinyl record at auction before. Please ask any questions you like. I will do my best to answer.
I will post the item at my expense by First Class Recorded Delivery. If you prefer delivery by another method then this can be arranged but may incur an additional charge. Of course, you are very welcome to collect from Chester.
I should point out that I have already had this record evaluated by three independent dealers so I have a good idea of its value in its current condition. Having said this, my reserve price is lower than the maximum I have been offered.
