Description

This is an amazing ORIGINAL 1957 mono copy of this classic West Coast Jazz record on the obscure Tampa Records label (MONO-28) - prominently featuring the legendary Art Pepper as soloist on saxophone - one of his very best performances!

The record is in fantastic condition, I'd conservatively rate both the cover and the record itself VG/VG, only due to a small seem split on the top of the cover I'd rate it VG and not VG+. The LP is beautiful transparent heavyweight red vinyl with deep groove matte black labels with silver print (see attached pictures). The record LP surface is in very nice shape, yet again conservatively VG...
The record did not come with an insert but I included a poly-lined inner sleeve to protect the vinyl.
All in all, this copy is in far better shape than any recent listing I've seen for this record anywhere! It was an incredible find and I have a tough time parting with it - most importantly it's a fantastic, timeless record and it plays perfectly. I personally only played each side one single time!
Good luck bidding on this Jazz rarity!
