Description

Please read all of the notes below prior to bidding on this item...

I guarantee your satisfaction with any record that is purchased from my collection or I will refund your purchase price and shipping cost. I have been collecting records for over 50 years and I know how to accurately describe the condition of a record. I am a long time fan of Rock 'n' Roll, Doo Wop, Rockabilly and Rock Music. Each record that I offer for sale is from my own private collection unless otherwise noted. I have never bought records at garage sales or flea markets. Most were purchased new, handled and stored with care and played on a high end turntable. Please remember that these records are not new, they are used and many are 30, 40 even 50 years old. My description of the condition of records is based on play testing unless otherwise noted.

I purchased this record new. It is a sparkling 1982 pressing of Marty Robbins' "Rock'n Roll'n Robbins" on the German Bear Family Records # BFX 15045. Produced in conjunction with CBS Special Products the year that Marty Robbins died.

This is a beautiful record in Near Mint condition.  It has only been played a few times since I purchased it and played again today to rate the condition. The record looks and sounds brand new and would be considered Mint except for the fact that it has been opened.

The entire jacket is also Near Mint in like-new condition and all seams are perfect. The original plain paper inner sleeve is like-new. This beautiful cover is a definite "Framer".

Song titles are shown in the photo.

Any questions will be answered promptly.

My overall grading is based on Goldmine's standard as follows:
Near Mint (NM): The vinyl shows no obvious signs of wear with high luster and sound quality. The jacket/sleeve has no noticeable defects. This is my highest rating as seldom can a record or jacket be considered mint.

Very Good Plus (VG+): The vinyl shows light signs of having been played with high luster and may have some faint scuffs or scratches that are not audible. Sound quality remains high but may have some light noise in dead wax or soft areas. The jacket/sleeve will show slight shelf-wear on edges & corners but will not stray far from original state.

Very Good (VG): The vinyl has been played but has no major loss in sound quality despite light scratches and dulling. Will probably have light surface noise that is more audible in dead wax and at soft areas but does not overpower music. The jacket/sleeve has normal wear such as light ring-wear, bumped corners, edge wear, ink rub off etc.

Good Plus (G+): The vinyl has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated (such as pops, crackling, hissing) but doesn't skip or repeat. The jacket/sleeve may have folding, scuffing of edges, split seams, discoloration, etc.

Good (G): The vinyl is playable but has considerable surface noise and may skip or repeat. The jacket/sleeve may have split seams, tears, stains or writing on them. These would be considered “Collection filler only”.
