Artist: Marvin Gaye
Album: In the Groove
Description: Yellow Tamla label, 1st stereo pressing. This is album that broke Gaye into the mainstream. Only 1968 pressings use the "In the Groove" title. In 1969 the title was changed to "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" to capitalize on the smash hit of the same name.
Sleeve Condition: VG+, the sleeve is pretty nice with just some light scuffing and bit of bending to a top corner. The corners are sharp, the colors are great. Inner sleeve has a bit of wrinkling, but no tears or splits.
Vinyl Condition: VG++, Disc is in fantastic shape with one surface drag mark on Side 2. Side 1 is very close to NM. Very clean and shiny. Labels look fantastic. No scuffs or scratches, play tested in spots & it plays well with really good sound no play issues at all. This one has clearly been well cared for and is very nice overall.
