Description
Hi, This is a copy of the scarce second album from Marvin Gaye, "That Stubborn Kind of Fellow" from 1963. It was released on the Tamla label TM 239.
The vinyl is in superb condition, it looks almost unplayed -- check the spindle holes in the photos -- there's almost no markings on them!! The original owner wrote his name one the label on Side One in red marker and that's close to being the only flaw on the vinyl!
The jacket is also in wonderful shape. My scanner does not do whole album covers, so I scanned the covers to show you the few flaws. On the front cover, the corners all have a tiny amount of foxing and the lower right corner has a small tuft. The open side of the cover has a couple of small dings. The sum total of all these minor imperfections hardly detract from the overall niceness of this cover. The picture and writing area of the cover are in great shape. The back cover is in great condition. The paper is still very white and clean -- the only flaw is that the owner again wrote his name on the left hand edge in red marker. There is also a photo of Martha and the Vandellas on the back cover -- they sing back-up on some of the songs.

This is a really, really nice copy of a hard-to-find album! Its scarceness is reflected in the Goldmine Price Guide listing for it - the values are estimated at $150 - $300 - $600 by condition.
