Marvin Gaye Vinyl Album 'Marvin Gaye' on the UK Stateside Label from 1964 (SL10100 MONO).......Most clued-up collectors really hate the silly 'RARE' prefixes applied to the most common vinyl on ebay - It's usually a cheap sales pitch applied by someone who has no idea what is really rare, or simply wishful thinking on the part of someone who is mistaken.

This is a Genuinly Rare Album. Marvin Gaye's first LP, released in the UK in 1964. It is cool, it is stylish, and it is ideal for having casually and artfully on view, by your deck, when socialising with other people who know and recognise its rarity and envy you deeply!!......If you move in vinyl collecting circles you will recognise the truth in this statement.!!

For those of you in an advanced state of mania, interested only in hoarding rare vinyl, and for the less disturbed who actually feel the urge to play the record, here is an accurate and truthful description

The vinyl is visually in VG Condition with some surface marks....I have played both sides, twice, on a top quality record deck....there are no skips, jumps, clicks or other unwanted distractions...just a little background hiss, mainly between tracks, and the odd little crackle. The centre label is unmarked, no writing, nail varnish or stickers etc...The sleeve is in VG Condition....there is some crazing on the front cover, adjacent to the opening edge, but it has not gone all the way through...I have taken a photo of this for your inspection below....The reverse of the sleeve is a little discoloured, but the flipback edges are largely sound and in place...again I have taken a photo for you to check this out....I will supply this album in a heavy duty clear poly outer protective sleeve.
