Artist: Marvin Gaye
Album: When I'm Alone I Cry
Description: Yellow deep groove label, 1964 first pressing. One of Gaye's earlier albums & comprised mostly of vocal jazz ballads. Gaye's voice is highlighted in a way that you don't usually hear and it's absolutely fantastic. It was not well-received upon release, but has since gained appreciation as a highlight of his early discography.
Sleeve Condition: Strong VG/Weak VG+, the sleeve is nice with just some minor wear. The corners are sharp, the colors are great, the spine is nice with no wrinkles. There is some ring scuffing and some pen writing on the back. Original inner sleeve has a bit of wrinkling, but no tears or splits.
Vinyl Condition: VG++, Very clean overall with nice labels and no major wear at all. Side 1 is basically NM, no scuffs at all. Side 2 has a couple of thin hairlines, each about 2-3" long. Nothing that affects play. Plays and sounds great with no pops or skips. Despite the couple of lines, this one has clearly been well cared for.
