An under the radar album if ever there was one! Mary Lou Adler serves up some 90s goodness with her soft, airy voice and poignant lyrics.
The first song is with a band called Bevis Fond and it’s all fire. Then it goes into an all acoustic set. Her voice reminds me of Jill Sobule and Jewel.
It’s said she possibly had a fling with Kurt Cobain before Courtney Love came along. I included the story; see the last picture.
Vinyl: EX (vinyl has a nice gloss and superficial marks; some hairlines. Plays very soundly. Couple moments of nothing “chatter”-nothing that takes away from the listening experience. No pops/ticks.)
Cover: Strong VG (corner wear, a little minor seam wear, main reason for the grade is the light scuffing that’s present.)
Original insert included-minor handling wear.
Vinyl is housed in an anti-static inner sleeve.
