Description
Record : 'Music To Varnish Owls By' - (Programme Music PM011) - 1975 Condition (Record/Cover): VG++/VG+
Wow were do we start on this one? Ok on the sound sample we kick off with 'Bits And Bats' which open with lovely open 'n crunchy drums and a dinky clav melody. It carries on with lush flute, wah-wah and lots of library funk! Following that we have 'A Change Of Pace' which goes off right from the word go - Big 'dre' style piano chords over a tough beat - It breaks down later into another whopping beat! (third sample).
'Well Above Average' again kicks off with another lovely midtempo beat and added triangle! A great funky little number here. The last sample is 'Time And A Half' which is a kind of ramsey lewis ragtime bopper! Great fun!
So much else on her - disco, other funky bits, solo samples and other drum skits. This always goes for high money which reflects just how good it is. Top recommendation!
