Description
Matt gave me these albums as soon as he made them. We lived in the same neighborhood and probably met at a bar. One album has the lyric sheet with it. He was into jazz and I was into rock and roll. My previous roommate worked for Graham Nash and David Crosby and I spent a lot of time with those guys. Matt's music was over my head. It was good but I needed to rock. We had a good time bar hopping and playing music. He was a cool dude. I just found out how special these albums were after I Googled him.
I talked to Matt earlier this year. I reminded him of the gut string guitar that he was using at the time and it only had 5 strings on it. I asked if he ever got the last string and he said he never did. So he did all the guitar parts with 5 strings on both albums. That says something right there.
I don't have a record player anymore so I am willing to let go of these records to someone who is a collector and wants a virgin type record.
