Max Roach Max mono Argo 623 black label deep groove

The record looks and plays VG+ with light surface noise audible during quiet passages but no heavy repetitive ticking. Louder passages play VG++. Light scuffs and marks on both sides, No scratches into the grooves. The grooves show play but are not graying or spread.
The cover is VG+.
The front is still shiny with light to moderate wear and small writing near the top of the spine. The back cover has moderate to heavy wear, fading, some staining and a small pen mark. The corners have spots of heavy wear and denting. The bottom seam has heavy wear. The top seam is split app 7 inches at the pocket and is untaped. Spine is intact and readable.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
