Description
This is the original deep groove mono pressing of Max Roach “We Insist” on Candid CJM 8002. Other than two inaudible hairlines, the playing surface is in near new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once. The matte cover is in exceptional condition – bright and clean throughout – with sharp corners; ½” split on the bottom seam, at the opening; 1 1/2'” clean break at the bottom of the spine; the front is signed “Max” in gold pen; the back is signed by Abbey Lincoln. Personnel include Booker Little, Walter Benton, Coleman Hawkins, and Julian Priester. $200.00.
