Description

Ten-inch one-sided acetate copy on white Trident Studios label with artist and title hand written (see photo). The one song presented on this acetate is a solid-gold reggae classic One Step Forward by Max Romeo and the Upsetters.

This is an original acetate in its original orange card cover with the Trident Studios logo and a message "For Leslie Palmer", presumably the person to whom this copy was originally delivered.

Leslie Stephen "Teacher" Palmer, MBE, is a Trinidadian community activist, writer and teacher, who migrated in the 1960s to the UK, where he became involved in music and the arts in West London.
